gf A vacation – or ‘annual leave’ as some might call it – is a time to relax and enjoy the sunshine, sand and sea. Some people go away skiing and combine sunshine with snowcapped mountains. Whatever the choice of holiday, the essential thing is to enjoy ourselves. The warmth of the sun on our faces and the gentle breeze from the sea fills us with joy while we relax.

Going away makes some of us buy new clothes for our holidays. We save our money only to spend it all in the short space of two or three weeks.

Part of the fun is to stay up late, sleep all morning and sunbathe or ski all afternoon. We then return home tired and delight in telling everybody what a great time we had. When the holiday is long gone, we still have our photographs and souvenirs to remind us of the fun we had.
